Ingredients
1 ripe avocado
1 scoop protein powder (I use vanilla plant protein, can use whey for non DFO)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup oat milk (substitute for regular milk for non DFO)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp maple syrupÂ
Fresh mint (optional - for topping)
berries (optional - for topping)Â Â
high protein Greek yoghourt or protein dairy free yoghourt (for topping)
Preparation
Step 1
In a blender or food processor, blend the avocado until smooth. Add remaining ingredients (excluding toppings). Blend until creamy and smooth. Adjust sweetness to taste.
Step 2
Distribute evenly between 3 glasses or small bowls for serving. Add the toppings (optional). Chill for 15-20 minutes for a firmer texture.
