About the Recipe

Kickstart your day with the Keto Protein Smoothie, a delicious blend designed to fuel your workouts and support your health goals. Packed with protein powder, eggs, and protein Greek yogurt, this smoothie offers a whopping 60g of protein, essential for muscle repair and growth. If following the keto diet, be sure to choose a protein powder that is high in protein and low in carbs! The addition of frozen berries provides antioxidants and vitamins while adding natural sweetness without the carbs, making them a perfect choice for a keto diet. A splash of milk, whether dairy or plant-based, ties everything together, creating a creamy texture. This well-balanced smoothie is not only satisfying but also ideal for anyone looking to maintain energy levels and support recovery, all while enjoying a tasty and nutritious breakfast! (For additional nutritional information see Ingredients Index).

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop protein powder (I use vanilla plant protein, can use whey for non DFO)

  • 2 large eggs, raw

  • ¾ cup protein Greek yogurt (or dairy-free protein yogurt for DFO)

  • 1 cup frozen berries

  • 1 tbsp milk (oat milk for DFO)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. If you prefer a thinner consistency, feel free to add a little more milk.

Step 2

If desired, top with a few extra berries or a dollop of Greek yogurt for added texture and nutrition.
